2. INFORMATION ABOUT THE COLLECTION OF PERSONAL DATA AND CONTACT DETAILS OF THE RESPONSIBLE

When you contact us (e.g. using the contact form or email), personal data is collected. Which data is collected in the case of a contact form can be seen from the respective contact form. This data is stored and used exclusively for the purpose of answering your request or for establishing contact and the associated technical administration. The legal basis for the data processing is our legitimate interest in answering your request in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR. If your contact is aimed at concluding a contract, the additional legal basis for processing is Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b GDPR. Your data will be deleted after your request has been processed; this is the case if it can be inferred from the circumstances that the matter in question has been finally clarified and provided there are no statutory retention requirements.

The applicable data protection law grants you comprehensive rights as a data subject (information and intervention rights) against the person responsible regarding the processing of your personal data, which we inform you about below:

  • Right to access according to Art. 15 GDPR;
  • Right to rectification according to Art. 16 GDPR;
  • Right to erasure according to Art. 17 GDPR;
  • Right to restriction of processing according to Art. 18 GDPR;
  • Right to notification according to Art. 19 GDPR;
  • Right to data portability according to Art. 20 GDPR;
  • Right to withdraw consent given according to Art. 7 Para. 3 GDPR;
  • Right to lodge a complaint according to Art. 77 GDPR.

If we process your personal data as part of a balancing of interests based on our predominant legitimate interest, you have the right, for reasons arising from your particular situation, to object at any time to this processing with effect for the future. If you exercise your right to object, we will stop processing the data concerned. However, we reserve the right to further processing if we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing that override your interests, fundamental rights, and freedoms, or if the processing is for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims. If your personal data is processed by us for direct marketing purposes, you have the right to object at any time to the processing of your personal data for such marketing. 7. DURATION OF STORAGE OF PERSONAL DATA

The duration of storage of personal data is based on the respective legal basis, the purpose of processing, and – if relevant – also on statutory retention periods under tax and commercial law. Your data is stored with us until you revoke your consent according to Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a GDPR. If there are statutory retention periods for data that is processed within the framework of legal or similar obligations, these data will be routinely deleted after the retention periods expire, provided they are no longer required for the fulfillment of a contract or for contract initiation according to Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b GDPR and/or we have no legitimate interest in further storage. Your personal data processed on the legal basis of protecting our legitimate interests according to Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR will be stored until you exercise your right to object according to Art. 21 Para. 1 GDPR, unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing that override the interests, rights, and freedoms of the data subject, or the processing is for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims. Your data processed on a legal basis for the purpose of direct marketing according to Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR will be stored until you exercise your right to object according to Art. 21 Para. 2 GDPR. Your stored personal data will be deleted if it is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected or otherwise processed. This does not apply if otherwise stated in this declaration for specific processing situations.
